Inspired by President Barry Rassin to make Rotary relevant for future generations, RRC developed a series of programs to provide leadership, personal and professional development of its members and inspires them to share what they learned with others. Expert speakers included:
Our weekly Rotascope also included additional resources where our members could learn more about each topic. Our programs were regularly reported in the local newspapers and has dramatically improved Roswell Rotary's PUBLIC IMAGE.
The concept of personal development grew into a 6-week Entrepreneurs Workshop offered by Hal Coleman and hosted by Mike Prewett, both Roswell Rotarians. For Roswell to succeed we need to energize and encourage people to start, sustain and grow small businesses, which is exactly the purpose of the Entrepreneurs Workshop! $6,940 was raised to end polio! Helping people succeed and doing good in the world—well that’s what Roswell Rotary is all about! The workshop was promoted to Rotarians and the community at large as a way to grow local businesses and people.
