The Newnan Rotary Club partnered with the Newnan High School Interact Club on October 24 for Rotary Day, focusing on raising awareness and funds for Polio Plus. The event included multiple fundraisers, such as Pints for Polio, an evening at a local restaurant where a portion of proceeds supported polio eradication efforts. Meanwhile, the Interact Club held a fundraiser at Whitt’s Custard, where proceeds also contributed to the cause. Through these efforts, Rotarians and Interactors engaged with the community, educating patrons about Rotary’s global fight against polio while strengthening ties between youth leaders and Rotary members. The event not only generated funds but also increased public awareness, reinforcing Rotary’s mission to eradicate polio worldwide and demonstrating the impact of “Service Above Self” in Coweta County and beyond.
