This Wednesday, we’re excited to welcome Kendall Rae Johnson, founder of aGROWKulture Urban Farm. Her farming journey started with lessons from her great grandmother, Laura “Kate” Williams, and a simple lesson on growing collard greens. In 2021, with the support of her parents, that curiosity turned into a business and made Kendall Rae the youngest certified farmer in the nation. Today, aGROWKulture Urban Farm is a thriving urban farm producing fresh vegetables, fruit from 26 trees, and livestock including chickens, ducks, rabbits, and honey bees. The farm also serves as a community hub, offering tours, workshops, and events that connect people to their food and inspire the next generation of farmers.

Join us for an overview of Rotary Star Student Program , one of Rotary’s long standing initiatives that recognizes outstanding high school seniors for academic achievement, leadership, and character. This program highlights students who exemplify hard work, integrity, and a commitment to their school and community. Attendees will learn how students are selected, how the interview process works, and why the Star Student Program continues to be a meaningful way for Rotary to invest in future leaders. The session will also touch on the role local Rotarians and community partners play in supporting and celebrating these students.

One Roof Hygiene Bag Service Project As part of our District Grant project, the Rotary Club of Newnan will purchase hygiene items and assemble approximately 200 hygiene bags to support families served by One Roof. Project Details: • Location: One Roof – 255 Temple Avenue, Newnan, GA

Join us for a presentation with Debbie Brillings and Jonathan Brillings from the Auditory Verbal Center . They will share how their work helps children who are deaf or hard of hearing learn to listen, speak, and thrive using spoken language. This session will cover the impact of early intervention, family centered therapy, and how the Auditory Verbal approach changes outcomes for children and families across our region. Attendees will also learn how the community can support and engage with this life changing mission.
