Rotary International History:
Rotary International has over 1.4 million members worldwide. There are 46,000 clubs located in 200 countries. Much of our international work is funded through the Rotary Foundation, a top rated philanthropic organization. Rotary’s top project in recent years is the almost complete elimination of Polio worldwide.
Who we are: Newnan Rotary Club consists of a diverse group of members who work, live, and volunteer in the Newnan Coweta Community. Through leadership and service projects, we work to make a difference in the individual’s lives around us and the community we live and work in. Our 2022-23 officers are:

What we do: We provide service to our community through specific service projects that include, but are not limited to: July 4th Fireworks, Tour of Coweta bicycle ride, Salute to the Fallen and our Rotary Community Grant Program.
When we meet: Newnan Rotary Club meets every Friday at 12:00 PM.
Where we meet: Newnan Rotary Club meets at Newnan Country Club located at 1356 Highway 29 North; Newnan, Georgia 30263.
Attendance: Rotary members are encouraged to attend all meetings. In consideration that there are circumstances that do not allow members to attend every meeting, the mandatory attendance record is to attend 50% annually. Members can attend Rotary meetings in other communities to earn makeup credit.
Commitment Expectations: Involvement and participation in committees and local service projects annually.
Membership Dues: $XXX quarterly ($XXX for membership + $XXX for meals). Dues are billed in arrears. Guest meals are charged at $XX.XX/person.
Beliefs: Mission, Vision, and Values- In 1932, Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor created The Four-Way Test. The test, which has been translated into more than 100 languages, asks the following questions:

1) Is it the TRUTH?
2) Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3) Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4) Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
